Drogheria Fine —
Drogheria Fine is a Calabrian based epicerie store in Mile End, Montreal. It specialises in tomato sauce, and fresh gnocchi. It imports the ingredients from Calabria, which is famous for fresh tomato, and chili. The assignment is to renew the branding as the current identity is inconsistent, and relies on classic iconography.
Branding Design
For this project, I decided to take a simple approach. Multiple researches into the store’s profile, images, as well as colours, were taken to direct the project into different approaches. Finally, I found the stencil typography logo would match the modern culinary look for the company because the choppy cut of the logo looks like a store providing food. Moreover, the red circle, representing the tomato, along with the lettering ‘DF’ would be another graphic device for the branding.
